Laura Boyd completed her two-year Teach for America program in Memphis, Tennessee. Currently she holds a master’s degree in education with a focus on world language and Spanish. This is her ninth year as a Spanish teacher for the Franklin Special School District. She serves in many leadership roles at her school such as:related art team chair, beautification committee leader, social media coordinator, and superintendent advisory committee. Additionally, she is a technology presenter at the district, local, and state levels. Her passions are to strive for a classroom that produces superior learning as well as student development emphasizing social emotional learning and edtech integration.
